The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program provides a great opportunity to mid- career professionals who have leadership potential for a year in USA with non- degree academic coursework and professional development activities. Competitive selection is done based on the applicant’s leadership potential and commitment to their services in public and private sectors.

• Ten month coursework and internship program in relevant professional organization

• Selected candidates will get experience from future leaders and policy makers

• This program will build productive ties between Americans and professional counter parts overseas

• Almost 18 campuses are selected to host fellows in group

• Faculty advisors will support the applicants in balancing the academic and professional programs

• All participants will return back to Pakistan after completion of fellowship program

Eligibility Criteria Designed For Humphrey Fellowship

• Applicant must be Pakistani citizen

• Must have five years of progressively responsible professional work experience

• Must have 16 years of education (4 years bachelor’s degree or 2 years bachelor’s and Master’s degree)

• Avail a guarantee of re-employment upon return to Pakistan

• Applicant must be fluent in spoken and written English

• TOFEL test score is not required at the time of application, though successful candidates will be required to take TOFEL

Who Are Ineligible To Apply?

• University teachers and researchers are not eligible to apply

• Applicant who have long term study and professional experience in USA within the last five years

• Dual nationals are not eligible

• If the applicant’s spouse, parent or child is residing in USA, they cannot apply

• Employees of Fulbright organization are also ineligible to apply for the fellowship program

Application Procedure For Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship

• Online applications are accepted by USEFP

• All required documents including educational transcripts, CV and reference letters must be submitted online
