- From a set of 2,176 global award winners across 137 countries, 114 scholars are from Pakistan.
- Pakistani academics got the most awards. India was second with 96, followed by Bangladesh (95), Mexico (93), Nigeria (75), and Brazil (73). Of the 114 Pakistani winners, 66 were women, which suggests better gender balance in education, where women compose about 58% of the Pakistani recipients.
