Stanford University is located in Stanford, California, United States of America. It is ranked Second Best higher educational institute of its country and the world to study in 2018 by QS Ranking. It also holds the title of largest university campus in the world and whole of it maintained beautifully. It is one of the world’s leading universities and has always proved itself second to none. It is an elite educational institute ranked among Oxford, Harvard, MIT and Cambridge. Stanford was established in 1885, however, it came to function in 1991.

Stanford Campus

Stanford has the largest university campus in the world. It comprises over 33.10 square kilometers. There are about 700 major buildings in this campus. Despite its size, whole campus is beautifully decorated with trees, flowers and astonishingly established buildings. Because of its size, beauty and facilities, 97% of undergraduate students live on campus. Their students dormitories are also among world’s most famous and elite. This campus is so huge and green, there are forest and lakes inside it and even a golf course. Wildlife biologist use Stanford for research.

Stanford also a has a huge stadium of its own for sports festivals. All Halls of Residence for both students and faculty are located inside the campus. Living in such campus must be quite fun. Many fountains, memorials and landmarks can be found inside this campus which include Lou Henry Hoover House, Hoover Tower, The Dish, Golden Spike, Stanford Memorial Church and White Memorial Fountain.
