Are you an artist, designer, or creative professional looking for an international residency in Switzerland? The Textile and Design Alliance (TaDA) Artist-in-Residence Programme 2026 is now open for applications, offering six global creatives—including those from Pakistan—a chance to explore Switzerland’s world-class textile industry.
This unique residency invites participants to combine art, design, sustainability, and innovation while collaborating with Swiss experts and companies.
What is the TaDA Artist-in-Residence Programme?
The TaDA (Textile and Design Alliance) is a cultural initiative launched by the Swiss cantons of St. Gallen, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, and Thurgau. The programme is based in Arbon, a historic hub for the textile industry, where artists gain direct access to companies, institutions, and advanced technology.
Through this residency in Switzerland, participants explore the intersection of heritage textile crafts and modern sustainable practices, producing new creative projects that are later showcased to the public.
