Fellowship Objective
The Fellowship wants to bring Scholars together to look into how major global powers are affecting Southeast Asia. Some key topics include:
- The ties between the US and China and how they're impacting Southeast Asia.
- Security concerns in the Asia Pacific, such as the South China Sea situation and the relationship between China and ASEAN countries.
- The progress and future of economic partnerships, such as the Belt and Road Initiative and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
- How China's growth is impacting communities in Southeast Asia.
- How countries are using digital media and tech to shape their interests and impact how people see things in Southeast Asian nations.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Fellowship is open to everyone, no matter where they come from.
- It's aimed at post-doctoral researchers and mid-career policymakers.
- Mid-career policymakers who don’t have a Ph.D. or a similar degree can also apply.
- If you're applying without a Ph.D., make sure to show relevant work experience and research interests in your CV or resume.
