Duration Of MBBS In France

First Cycle (PCEM)

Second Cycle (DCEM)

Third Cycle (DES)

Two study programs are included in the third cycle, General Medicine and other specialties, both of which enable students to obtain a Diploma of Specialized Studies.

Additionally, students may complete some specialties in order to obtain the complementary specialized studies certificate DESC, which takes two years of study. The student can prepare and discuss a thesis for obtaining the country’s PhD in medicine afterwards.
