To give hardworking students an opportunity for innovative career preparation, the SUNY Polytechnic Institute has decided to award Merit-Based Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023. This scholarship is exclusively offered to undergraduate programmes offered at SUNY completely based on merit. Students will be evaluated based on their admission applications. Selected students can renew these scholarships up to 4 years of study.

Scholarship for International Students
The Cascade International Student Scholarship is a merit-based award for students attending Southern Oregon University. The scholarship is for new undergraduate, graduate, and graduating SOU Intensive English Program students.
The award amounts vary from $1,000 to $9,000 per academic year and is a renewable scholarship.

How to Apply
The scholarship is directly applied to the student account after official documentation has been received.
For students living off-campus, the scholarship will be reduced by $2500 annually.
Important Notes
Beginning March 1, 2024, a $50 application fee (no waivers available) will be applicable.
Admitted students are required to pay a $500 commitment deposit, with $300 refundable upon proof of visa denial. The remaining $200 is retained as the i20 processing fee.

Post Scholarships
In addition to its participation in federal financial aid programs, Post University offers a number of institutional scholarships. Scholarship awards have no repayment obligation. Merit-based scholarships are renewable, provided students maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress as outlined in the university catalog. Scholarships are often included as part of a total financial aid package.
This Merit Scholarship is offered to full-time, incoming freshmen with a high school GPA of 3.00-3.49. Students who are awarded this scholarship and have a GPA of at least 3.2 are eligible to participate in the Honors Program and are encouraged to do so.
