For both the masters and PhD programs all the disciplines are eligible except clinical medicine

GRE exam score (Graduate record examination) with minimum 138 in verbal and 136 in quantitative sections

Must be fluent in spoken and written English

TOFEL is required from all the selected candidates

 Must be nominated by a doctoral faculty member; students cannot nominate themselves.

Must be enrolled full-time in a PhD program over the academic year of the award or forfeit the fellowship.

Should have two years remaining in their program at the time of nomination so the fellowship can be applied to the last year of study.

The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan, established in 1950, is an organization made by the governments of Pakistan and the United States. The organization wants to help Pakistani students, scholars, teachers, and professionals in availing their desired variety of higher education opportunities in the U.S.

Students from Pakistan are eligible to apply.

Eligible Course or Subjects: 

Master or PhD level degree programmes offered at an American university can be applied for.

 Criteria: 

The applicants must possess a high level of fluency in spoken and written English.

Acceptable Course or Subjects:

The awards will be awarded to PhD students that address focused areas of interest in technology.

Admissible Criteria:

A doctoral faculty member must nominate applicants; students cannot nominate themselves.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a PhD program over the academic year of the award or forfeit the fellowship.

Applicants should have two years remaining in their program at the time of nomination so the fellowship can be applied to the last two years of study.

US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor PHD Scholarship program 

The program will develop a collaboration between Pakistani and renowned US institutions to transfer new research techniques focused on Pakistani needs.

Category II -Scholarship (Top 300 QS World Ranked US Universities):

 For this category of scholarship, prospective applicant must have:

a. Secured admission in top 300 (51-300) QS World Ranked US University (overall ranking). In case of QS Subject wise Ranking, must have secured admission in top 100 (51-100) universities

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Pakistani/AJK nationals

Minimum 4 years bachelor's degree (B.S/B.Sc./B.E/16 years formal education)

No 2nd or 3rd Division in entire academic career is acceptable for both Category – I & II.
