For those in diplomacy, policy advising, or public affairs with a focus on global relations, the 13th ASEF Public Diplomacy Training in Singapore, scheduled for 2025, provides an opportunity for growth. The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), along with DiploFoundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore, will host this fully funded program.
This training aims to develop skills in public diplomacy, encourage dialogue between Asia and Europe, and refine strategic communication abilities. Pakistani professionals are welcome to apply.
What Is ASEFPDT?
Since 2013, the ASEF Public Diplomacy Training (ASEFPDT) has been a main program, developing the skills of more than 400 diplomats and professionals in Asia and Europe. This year, the 13th program offers:
- A five-week online course.
- A five-day, in-person training session in Singapore.
- Cultural and networking events.
- New training resources that include AI to help with public diplomacy.

Who Can Apply?
The program seeks applicants who are:
- Diplomats in the early to middle stages of their careers, working in foreign ministries or embassies.
- Professionals in the public sector or civil society involved in diplomacy or international relations.
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and at least three years of work experience, or a master's degree in a related area.
- Possess strong English skills.
- Be currently working in Asia-Europe cooperation or public diplomacy.
- Have a clear interest in global communications, public affairs, or international policy.
