75 Top Talent MS And PhD Scholarships For Pakistani Students

The government of Pakistan has announced MS and PhD scholarships for Pakistani students. The number of awards is 75, as this year Pakistan celebrated its 75th independence anniversary. 40 and 35 awards are nominated for PhD and MS study programs respectively. HEC declared a list of the top 25 (QS and THE) ranked universities and subjects for which the scholarships are announced. Students after securing admission to any of below-listed universities can apply for the scholarship.

Tenure Of National Talent Scholarship

The National Talent scholarship program is fully funded by the Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan. The award will cover the 2 and 4 years student’s expenses for MS and PhD respectively.

Eligibility Criteria For 75th Independence Anniversary Scholarship Program

The basic eligibility criteria to be selected for this scholarship program is as follows

• Applicants must have a Pakistan/ Azad Kashmir national identity

• Must have an admission letter from the top 25 (QS/THE) ranked universities in selected subjects

• Applicants who already availing any other HEC scholarship have to submit a NOC from that scholarship

• Applicants who are serving in Pakistan as government employees have to submit an NOC from the organization to apply for the scholarship.

Age Requirements For National Talent Scholarship

• Age of the applicants (either applying for MS or PhD program) should not be more than 35 years

• Age limit for public servants is 40 years

How To Apply For National Top Talent Scholarship Program

• Online applications are accepted by HEC through the HEC-e portal

• Students have to create a profile on the HEC site

• Submit application processing fee  700/- through Habib Bank in Account number 1742-79001334-01

• Upload all required documents and submit the application

National Talent Scholarship Terms And Conditions

• Students will get scholarships on first-come-first-served basis

• Applicants have to fulfill all the requirements like GRE, and TOFEL test that may be required by the university

• Only unconditional offer letter from the foreign university is acceptable

• Students have to come back to Pakistan right after the completion of the degree program

• Successful applicants have to sign a document declaring their agreement to provide services in Pakistan for 3 and 5 years after MS and PhD respectively
