The Asia Pacific Space Generation Workshop (AP-SGW) 2025 is an exciting event taking place from November 15 to 16, 2025 in Mactan, Cebu, Philippines. This prestigious workshop is organized by the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) and brings together young space professionals, students, and enthusiasts from across the Asia-Pacific region — including Pakistan — to collaborate, innovate, and shape the future of space exploration.

What is AP-SGW 2025?

AP-SGW is a biennial workshop held as a pre-event to the Asia Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF). It serves as a platform for the next generation of space leaders to share knowledge, discuss regional space challenges, and develop recommendations to support sustainable space activities throughout Asia-Pacific.

The 2025 workshop will highlight how space technology can tackle issues like climate change, disaster management, and connectivity — topics highly relevant to Pakistan and neighboring countries.

Asia Pacific Space Leader Award (AP-SLA) 2025: Fund Your Journey

The Asia Pacific Space Leader Award (AP-SLA)supports selected participants by covering travel and visa expenses to attend the workshop.

Award Highlights:

Who Can Apply?

• SGAC members aged 18 to 35 as of December 16, 2025.
• Residents of Asia-Pacific countries, including Pakistan.
• Individuals with proven contributions to SGAC or the space sector.
• Applicants who have not previously won the AP-SLA or served as judges.
• Candidates not receiving other funding for AP-SGW 2025.
