Premier of New South wales Glady’s Berejiklian says "They will need to be double-vaccinated with a vaccine that our federal authorities have determined to be adequate and effective" .Ms Berejiklian said the state government was looking forward to welcoming back overseas students as it prepares to welcome back more Australians once the 80 percent double dose immunization rate is attained.

Further Ms Berejiklian states "First and foremost, we are prioritizing Australians returning home, and I want to be clear about that," Ms Berejiklian also said "However, we're also very interested in allowing universities to reintroduce overseas students." However Students from China who have received other immunizations will not be included in the experimental programme regarding comeback of international students.
