Eligibility Criteria

• Have earned a PhD on or after January 1, 2023, or will finish it before beginning the fellowship.

• Prepare to conduct research at a Western Australian university.
• Make sure to show off your leadership skills and your commitment to serving both your community and academic service.
• Propose a research project that reflects the host institution's aims and skills.

Fellowship Benefits

• Salary: It is based on a Level A Step 8 appointment (e.g., $108,362 at the University of Western Australia in 2025) and includes 17% superannuation.
  Accommodation Allowance
• Accommodation Allowance:  An accommodation allowance of $25,116 per year in 2025 (subject to the marginal tax rate).
• Research and travel allowance: You'll get a one-time cash allowance to cover research and travel expenses, and it's set at $12,000.This stipend is available for approved research-related expenses, including international research and conference travel.
• Relocation Allowance: All interstate and international Fellows are eligible for a relocation grant, which includes an economy flight to Perth and can be addressed with the Director if successful.
