Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible for the 2026-27 cycle, you need to have completed your PhD or a similar advanced degree by May 2022.
  • Humanities/Social Sciences: Proven publishing record (e.g., books or peer-reviewed articles)
  • STEM fields: PhD with at least 5 refereed journal papers; Harvard lab support letter if lab work is required.
  • Creative Arts/Journalism: Proven professional record (e.g., exhibitions, published books, films, and 5-10 years of experience).
  • Open to both U.S. and international applicants.
  • No institutional affiliation is necessary.
  • Joint applications are allowed (both must qualify).
  • Not open to current doctoral students.
