What is the Radcliffe Fellowship?
The Radcliffe Fellowship Program offers a fully-funded, nine-month stay in Cambridge, Massachusetts. During this time, fellows get the support and space they need to really advance their work in ways that can make a big difference.

Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for the 2026-27 cycle, you need to have completed your PhD or a similar advanced degree by May 2022.
- Humanities/Social Sciences: Proven publishing record (e.g., books or peer-reviewed articles)
- STEM fields: PhD with at least 5 refereed journal papers; Harvard lab support letter if lab work is required.
- Creative Arts/Journalism: Proven professional record (e.g., exhibitions, published books, films, and 5-10 years of experience).
- Open to both U.S. and international applicants.
- No institutional affiliation is necessary.
- Joint applications are allowed (both must qualify).
- Not open to current doctoral students.
