IAEA Infographic Design Contest 2025

Are you passionate about design, communication, or nuclear safety? The IAEA Infographic Design Contest 2025 offers a unique platform for young creatives aged 18–35 from IAEA Member States, including Pakistan, to showcase their design talent and contribute to global awareness on nuclear emergency preparedness and response.

Organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), this international infographic contest invites participants to visually explain complex topics from official IAEA publications related to emergency preparedness. The top winners will be awarded a fully funded trip to Saudi Arabia to present their work at a prestigious international conference.

Objective of the Contest

The aim is to develop a unique infographic explaining a topic from specific IAEA emergency response documents. The infographic should be visually appealing, easy to understand, and suitable for the general public, policymakers, or emergency responders.

Participants can choose one of the following themes:

• Public communication in nuclear emergencies
• Medical response procedures during radiological incidents
• Guidelines for first responders
• Strategies for radiological disaster preparedness
• Emergency preparedness combined with other crises (e.g., pandemics, natural disasters)
• Utilize the Emergency Preparedness and Response Information Management System (EPRIMS).

By designing infographics on such crucial topics, participants help make nuclear safety more accessible and understandable to non-experts.

Eligibility Criteria

This IAEA design competition is open to:

• People must be between 18 and 35 years old on August 17, 2025.
• Nationals of IAEA Member States (including Pakistan)
• One entry per participant
• Entries must be in English
• AI-generated content is prohibited; however, AI tools may be used for ideation if fully disclosed
