Eligibility Criteria

Although the formal eligibility criteria for the 2025 Changemakers program have not yet been established, prior IUCN programs have traditionally required applicants to:

Age range: 18 to 35 years.
Have a successful track record in environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, climate change mitigation, or sustainable development.
Be actively working on novel solutions that include nature-based ways to address global issues.
Showcase leadership abilities and a dedication to beneficial environmental effect.
Be fluent in English (other language abilities may be useful but are not essential).
