New Brunswick Canada, Launches New Immigration Rule For The International Graduates

New Brunswick, A Canadian province launches a new immigration system for international graduates. International students who are going to be graduated from any of the four nominated private career colleges located in New Brunswick will be considered for this new immigration program. The new immigration program will be implemented from April 1st, 2022 only for the students who will complete their graduate studies from the following colleges:

  • McKenzie College

  • Atlantic Business College

  • Oulton College

  • Eastern College

International students who will be graduated from any of these Canadian universities or colleges can apply for the Provincial Nominee Program, PNP. However, international students, to be eligible for this program, must also have studied in one of the nominated or eligible 19 study programs.

Further details of this program will be made for the fall semester. However, the Canadian government has announced that this program is for the recent graduate students of Designated Learning Institutions, DLIs who cannot apply for the federal post-graduate work permit, PGWP. The newly launched immigration project is limited to the DLIs students in New Brunswick.

New Brunswick Immigration Program Collaboration

New Brunswick immigration program has been introduced in collaboration with the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Opportunities NB, ONB (a leading business development corporation in New Brunswick). However, the organizations including the New Brunswick Business Council, boards of trade, the Canadian Manufacturers and Experts, and the Saint John Regional Chamber of Commerce pointed out almost three areas where there is a need to take action by the federal government.
