Saudi Arabia Offers Pakistani Students 600 Fully-Funded Scholarships In 2021

Saudi Arabia announces a fully-funded scholarships program for Pakistani students. A total of 600 awards will be offered to deserving and qualified Pakistani students. Students who are willing to pursue diploma, bachelor, master, and Ph.D. studies in the higher educational institutes in Saudi Arabia all are considered for this scholarships program.

The Pakistani Embassy in Saudi Arabia has recently declared that all the students who are currently residing in Pakistan and the legal residents in the Kingdom are encouraged to apply for scholarships in Saudi Arabia. The scholarship program is initiated by the 25 universities in Saudi Arabia (See below-given list). All the interested applicants are advised to read all the instructions carefully and then apply accordingly:

Scholarship Application Process

We advise students to follow the below-given steps to apply for a safe scholarship application:

• The mode of application is online and students have to submit an online application from the official website of the respective universities.

• Each university has its own eligibility criteria and timeframe for the scholarship application. We advise students to consult the respective universities for the eligibility criteria of their chosen subjects or programs.

• The scholarships program is available for almost all the major study disciplines including education, administration, law, political sciences, computer sciences, economics, engineering, agriculture, Arabic/Islamic studies, and media studies, etc.

• The scholarships program is valid for diploma, bachelor, master, and Ph.D. level programs.

• The scholarships program is introducing by the 25 higher educational institutes in Saudi Arabia. 

• All the universities will forward the applications to the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Education which evaluates the applications and decide the final award to the eligible applicants.

• All the applicants are required to share a copy of the online submitted application to the official email of the Embassy of Pakistan, Riyadh: Parepriyadh@mofa.gov.pk.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship program the general eligibility criteria are as follows:

• All Pakistani nationals including Azad Jammu and Kashmir nationals are eligible to apply.

• 75% of awards will be awarded to the students who are applying from Pakistan, whereas, 25% of awards will be offered to Pakistani students who are currently residing in the Kingdom.

• Both, male and female students are encouraged to apply.

• The decided age limit is 17-25 years, 30 years, and less than 35 years for bachelors, masters, and Ph.D. programs respectively.

• For the selected candidates, the study program will be commenced in September/October each year.

• Applicants must not hold any other financial assistance or scholarships at the time of this Saudi scholarship program.

• Applicants with any criminal record will not be eligible for this scholarship program.

• Applicants who are suspended from any educational institutes, or disciplinary, or from any other area will not be eligible for this scholarship program.

Scholarship Benefits And Perks 

• The award will offer free accommodation

• For married scholars, three months furnishing allowance will be offered on their arrival.

• The award will also cover the return air tickets.

• Free medical allowance for students. The family allowance will also be offered to the married candidates.

• For shipment of books three months graduation allowance. 

• The opportunity of subsided meal on campus.  

• Opportunities for sports and recreational activities on campus.

• Free support to the dependents applicants.

• The award will also cover the travel expenses.

• Science students will get a monthly stipend of 900 Saudi Riyal, whereas, students with the humanities program will receive a monthly stipend of 850 Saudi Riyal.
