About the Contest
UNESCO teamed up with the National Commission of the People's Republic of China, the China World Peace Foundation, and the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation to kick off a photography contest. This contest wants young people from all over the world to show the variety and togetherness of the Silk Roads through their photos.
They're looking for pictures that capture cultural exchanges, traditions, architecture, music, everyday life, and the shared history along these historic routes.
