The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) is inviting mid-career professionals from Pakistan to apply for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Competition program 2024. It is an excellent professional development opportunity for Pakistanis in the USA. Pakistani candidates will be able to participate in academic coursework of their choice and receive an internship in relevant professional organizations in the United States through this one-year graduate level non-degree program. Through a competitive process, 18 campuses have been chosen to host future leaders in groups with thematic and subject affinities. The selection process for each university is based on its institutional resources as well as the level of academic and administrative support it provides. Candidates will also get assisted by faculty advisers in balancing academic and professional programs. After completing their program, each participant is required to immediately return to Pakistan.

Must be a Pakistani citizen.
Total 16 years of education (four years bachelor's degree or two years for a bachelor's degree and a master's degree)
Minimum 5 years of professional work experience.
A candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English, must be proved through duolingo English test score report.
Women, disabled candidates and candidates from backward areas of Pakistan are highly encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates should serve Pakistan after returning from USA.
University teachers and researchers with no management experience or similar responsibilities are ineligible to apply.
Those who attended graduate school in the United States in the last seven years, or those who have had long-term experience in the United States within the last five years will not be considered for this program.
Persons who hold dual citizenship from Pakistan and the United States or who have a parent, spouse, fiancé, or child over the age of 18 who is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States are also ineligible.
The workers or employs of U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright organization are also ineligible.

Step-I |
The staff at USEFP will check each application for completeness and minimum qualifications. |

Step-II |
A set of established criteria will be used to evaluate complete applications that meet the minimum requirements, and those applications will be shortlisted. |

Step-III |
Between July and September, online interviews with applicants who have been shortlisted will take place in Islamabad. Pakistani and U.S. citizens make up the interview panels. |

Step-IV |
In October, the final candidates and alternates will be chosen. Phone calls will be made to applicants who have been selected as finalists or alternates. By mail, those who are not selected will be notified. |
The fellowship program 2024 will pay for a candidate’s tuition fee, airfare, health insurance and a monthly stipend will also be provided.
USEFP fellowship program will not pay any funds for the dependents along with the candidates, although if a candidate provides evidence that he or she has sufficient personal funds to cover the dependent's living expenses, health insurance or child care, then dependents can accompany the candidates later.
The USEFP Fellowship Program 2024 will start in the fall next year.
