Eligibility Criteria
If you want to apply for the AGRTP Scholarship, here’s what you need:
- You need to be starting or already studying as a domestic or international research student at the University of Sydney.
- You should have a strong academic background and show that you have what it takes for research.
- To apply, you either need an unconditional offer or be enrolled in a Master’s by Research or PhD program at the University of Sydney.
- You have to meet the English language requirements that the University has in place.
- If you're coming from overseas, you shouldn't already have Australian permanent residency, citizenship, or New Zealand citizenship.
Financial Benefits
If you get the AGRTP Scholarship, here’s what you’ll get:
- You'll get an annual stipend of AUD $41,753 (for 2025) to help cover living expenses.
- Full tuition paid for up to 14 research periods.
- Health insurance through Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international students.
- A relocation allowance to help with travel costs to Sydney.
