Eligibility
To qualify for this award, you must:
- Having applied for and met the entry requirements for a Master's or Doctorate by research degree to begin in the year of award.
- Plan to pursue graduate research in the field of human rights.
- Have not previously completed a research qualification at the same or higher level as the degree for which a scholarship is sought.
- Have not previously obtained a graduate research scholarship.
Benefits
- You can get $43,500 a year for living expenses if you're studying full-time for a Master of Research for up to two years, or for a Doctorate for up to 3.5 years. This amount might go up each year and includes some paid sick leave, maternity leave, and parental leave.
- If you're in a Master's by Research program, you can have your full tuition covered for two years, or four years if you're in a doctoral program.
- If you're relocating from another state or territory in Australia, you’ll receive $2,000, or $3,000 if you're coming from abroad.
- International students who need a visa will get Single Membership for Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) while studying in Australia.
