About the Fellowship

The Green Foreign Policy Fellowship is a 10-month program that's fully funded, starting in July 2025 and ending in May 2026. It's designed for early to mid-career researchers and professionals who want to rethink foreign and security policy. Participants will work together on research, have important discussions, and engage with communities to come up with fresh ideas to address global issues like climate change, conflict, inequality, and injustice.

Who Should Apply?

The fellowship is open to applicants from all over the world with different backgrounds. We’re looking for:

  • Recent graduates (bachelor’s degree or higher)
  • PhD students and postdocs
  • People working in foreign policy, advocacy, or public service
  • Policy advisers, researchers, and elected officials

Great candidates should show they care about changing foreign policy and have experience in related areas.

What the Fellowship Offers

  • Stipend: You'll get €6,000 (before tax), paid out in parts.
  • Travel Support: We cover your travel expenses for fellowship activities.
  • Visa Help: We'll assist you with your visa applications and paperwork.
  • Alumni Status: After graduation, you'll be called a Green Foreign Policy Scholar and be part of a lively alumni network.
