
The federal government has set aside Rs. 1.97 billion for the “Pak-UK Education Gateway” in the upcoming Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for 2025-26.
This initiative, created through a partnership between the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the British Council, aims to strengthen the ties between universities in Pakistan and the UK.

The “Pak-UK Education Gateway” includes:

This funding announcement comes just a day before the 2025-26 Federal Budget is set to be released, showing the government's dedication to improving learning opportunities and helping students access quality education abroad.
