KUT Japan Special Scholarship Program:

The aim of the Kochi University Special Scholarship Program (SSP) is to support the development of advanced Research at the University by inviting Researchers from around the world. The KUT Special Scholarship Program is a 3-year doctoral Scholarship with a strong interest in engaging in Research.​

Criteria:

The Scholarship is open to all Nationals.

The supervisor must agree to host the applicants. Supervisor permission required.

Applicants must have a Comparable Master’s degree (or expected).

Age 35 or under at enrollment.

Strong academic record from reputable universities.

The University of Tokyo is one of the most highly regarded universities in Japan and the world. The ADB Japan Scholarship program offers a 2-year Fully Funded Master’s scholarship to the citizens of ADB’s member countries. 

 Eligibility:

Master of Environmental Studies for those completing the master's program in Dept. of Natural Environmental Studies, Dept. of Human and Engineered Environmental Studies, Dept. of Ocean Technology, Policy and Environmental Studies, Dept. of Socio-cultural Environmental Studies and Dept. of Environment Systems.

Master of International Studies for those completing the master's program in Dept. of International Studies.

Master of Sustainability Studies for those completing the master's program in the Graduate Program in Sustainability Science.

MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship 2026.

The MEXT Scholarship Embassy Track is one of the two primary ways to apply for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. In this track, you apply for the scholarship through the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your home country.

Eligibility:

Open to All Nationalities: Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply. There is no restriction based on nationality.

Nationality Requirement: Applicants must not possess Japanese nationality.

Document Submission: Applicants must be able to provide all the required application documents.

Master’s Applicants:

Must have completed an Undergraduate program.

Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.

Ph.D. Applicants:

Must possess a Master’s degree to be eligible for Doctoral Degree programs.

IELTS Not Required: Submission of IELTS scores is not a mandatory requirement for the application.

 Institute of Science Tokyo

The Institute of Science Tokyo, commonly referred to as Science Tokyo, is a prestigious Japanese university formed through the merger of Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) and Tokyo Medical and Dental University.

 Criteria: 

Undergraduate students enrolled after April 2020

Privately funded international students (government-sponsored students are excluded)

Must not have exceeded the standard duration of undergraduate studies

No restrictions on status of residence

For new students enrolled in AY 2025 (25B): Must be top performers in the entrance examination

The University of Tokyo has 15 Graduate Schools and each school has different departments. You can apply for the Master’s and PhD Degree programs at the Tokyo University. IELTS is Not required if you have completed your previous education at an English language Medium University.

The scholarship is open to all Nationals (except Japanese).

Kyoto University iCeMS Internship 2025

This internship aims to offer international students a valuable research experience, to inspire them to choose Kyoto University for their graduate studies. Participants will arrive at the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences .

2025 Internship Announcement

The iCeMS Internship Program is open to all Nationals.

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at a foreign university.

Must have at least two semesters of undergraduate study remaining after program completion.

Demonstrated interest in pursuing graduate studies at Kyoto University within an iCeMS laboratory.
