York University International Scholarship
This Scholarship in Canada is open to international students from all around the world. The York University International Scholarships are available to start academic studies in Fall 2025.York University is a public research university located in Toronto, Ontario. It’s one of the largest universities in Canada.
Criteria:
International Student Status: Must be an international student requiring a Study Permit to study in Canada.
Program Eligibility: Must have applied to an undergraduate degree program starting in Fall 2025.
Direct Entry: Must have applied directly from high school within two years of graduation, with no prior university or college experience (not applicable to Tentanda Via Award).
Academic Excellence: Must have an excellent academic record with a minimum “A” average or equivalent (where applicable).


Alberta University
The Alberta Scholarship is open to both International and Canadian Students. The Admissions are open for the Fall 2025 Intake and the classes will begin in September 2025. One of the most important things is that Alberta University has removed the English Proficiency Test for some Countries.
New to the University Students
If you have never attended the University of Alberta, you have the opportunity to select up to two program choices per application. You will first be evaluated for your first-choice program. If you are eligible for your first-choice program, you will receive an offer for that program, and you will not be evaluated for your second-choice program, regardless of whether you choose to accept your first offer or not. You will be evaluated for your second-choice program only if you are not eligible for your first-choice program.

To be eligible, you must be an international (visa) student who has applied for admission to an undergraduate program in Waterloo's Faculty of Science. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, the impact a scholarship will have on your studies, and what motivates you to become a scientist.
Scholarships are awarded only after a student has received an offer of admission to a Faculty of Science program.
The renewable scholarships are dependent on maintaining an 80% overall cumulative average each term.

You are a current student on track to earn your first bachelor’s degree by August 2026
You earned your first bachelor’s degree in the last five years (January 2020 or later)
You earned your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago, and were 30 years or younger on January 1st, 2025
You will also need to meet the minimum degree and language requirements for McGill master’s program admission.
