This scholarship is only for the September/October intake for the academic year of 2025/2026. Interested applicants must secure a place in a Malaysian public university before submitting the scholarship application. The duration of the MTCP scholarship is between 24 to 36 months.
ELIGIBILITY
International students from the MTCP recipient countries.
Not more than 45 years old on the date of application.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
Minimum Second Class Upper (Honours) / CGPA 3.00 at undergraduate level.
English language requirements:
IELTS overall score of 6.0 and above; or
TOEFL iBT total score of 60 and above; or
Obtained a previous degree(s) with English used as the medium of instruction.
The MTCP Scholarship is funded by the Malaysian Government and is dedicated to International students to undertake a Master’s Degree Program from Malaysian Universities. This scholarship is only for the September/October intake for the academic year of 2025/2026.

The scholarship is open to non-native or non-citizen students who meet the program entry requirements and are not currently enrolled in any tertiary institution. Candidates must showcase strong academic potential and a commitment to personal growth.
Financial Aid
Villa College provides financial aid in various ways to support its students in achieving their academic goals. Offering flexible payment options is one corner of this aid, where monthly payments for course fees are available for the duration of the programme, and for some programmes that extend beyond the course duration.
Scholarship schemes are also offered to recognise and support academic excellence, and to encourage students to excel in their studies. These include scholarships from Villa College, Villa Foundations, the Nursing Association, and scholarship schemes from Athama Foundation, Tree Top Hospital, and Discover Hospitality. Additionally, the college provides discount schemes, including family, alumni, and corporate discounts, to make education more affordable for students.


The scholarship primarily targets international students studying in Brunei for the first time. Brunei Permanent Residents, and international students currently studying or previously studied in Brunei tertiary institutions are not eligible for this scholarship.
Terms and Conditions Of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship
This scholarship cannot be held together with any other scholarship, fellowship, grant, or loan without prior approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
If the recipient is found holding another scholarship, fellowship, grant, or loan without prior written consent, this scholarship may be terminated immediately.
Scholarship recipients are not encouraged to bring family members along for the duration of the Scholarship. No spouse or child allowances will be provided, and accommodation won't be arranged for accompanying family members.


Brunei Darussalam Scholarship. This fully-funded scholarship allows Pakistani students to enroll in any undergraduate, diploma programs, and postgraduate master's programs within Brunei. Administered by the Ministry of Affairs, the scholarship program has exhibited consistent advancement during the past years.

Documents Required For Brunei Scholarship
Certified copies of candidate’s academic qualifications and other supporting documents i.e. certificates, testimonials, transcripts etc.
If candidate’s documents are not in English language then attested English translations of those supporting documents must be submitted.
Certified true copies of candidate’s Passport and Birth Certificate.
