Chinese Government Scholarships are open for Pakistani students, they can apply for the program by getting all guidance through the given article and clicking on the official site links. Remember this is a fully funded scholarship in China for all degree programs including bachelors, masters and PhD. 

The Chinese Government Scholarship Program for Pakistani students offers fully-funded opportunities to pursue undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees in China, covering tuition fees, accommodation, and a monthly stipend. 

Chinese Government Scholarships Announcement

China Scholarship Council announce scholarships to international students every year to pursue their undergraduate, masters or PhD degrees from Chinese universities.

• CSC Scholarships For Undergraduates

CSC offers scholarships for 4-5 years including 1 year Chinese language to undergraduate students. Chinese language preparatory year is mandatory for undergraduate students.

• CCS Scholarships For Postgraduates

For masters programs and PhD study programs, CCS provide fully funded scholarships for 2-3 and 3-4 years.

• Acceptance Rate Of CSC Scholarships  

CSC Scholarship is a fully funded merit base scholarship program, so the acceptance for CSC is highly competitive and students with strong academic scores in previous record can be accepted easily by CSC. 

Categories Of CSC Scholarships

There are three types of scholarships announced by China Scholarship Council

• Chinese Government Scholarship Type A

Through this scholarship type students can apply directly to the China embassy for CSC scholarship, and students can apply to maximum two universities through this category.

• Chinese Government Scholarship Type B

Through this type, applicants can apply through Chinese universities for CCS Scholarships. Though they can apply to 3 universities by this CSC Scholarship category/ type.

• Chinese Government Scholarship Type C

Applicants apply through a nominating agency of their relevant country under this category, and HEC is a nominating agency for Pakistani students who want to apply for CSC Scholarships. 

Benefits Of Chinese Government Scholarship   

• Full tuition fee including admission will be covered by the CSC

• Free accommodation will be provided to successful candidates

• Monthly stipend of 2500, 3000 and 3500 CYN for bachelors, masters and PhD scholars respectively

• Though CSC will not provide a single penny to cover travel expenses

Eligibility Criteria For Chinese Government Scholarship

• Must be a Pakistani or AJK national when applying through HEC portal

• Applicants must be medically fit without any health issue

• Must have degree of passed examination, whose degrees are in process or not completed cannot apply for CSC scholarships

• They also have to meet the Chinese University’s additional criteria

• Age limit for CSC scholarships

Ø  Undergraduates: applicants applying for undergraduate study programs must be under age of 25 years

Ø  Masters Programs: Age limit for masters programs is 35 years

Ø  Doctoral programs: Applicant must not be more than 40 years

• Chinese Language Requirements

Ø  Applicants have to submit Chinese language proficiency certificate HSH level 3s otherwise they have to study for an extra year in China as Chinese language preparatory year

• HAT/ USAT Test Requirements

Ø  Applicants applying for bachelors study programs have to submit a valid USAT score (50/100) and same score required in HAT for getting admission in masters and PhD study programs. 

How To Apply For CSC Scholarships?

Students mostly apply through type C (nominating agency of relevant country), so they have to apply on both HEC and Chinese Scholarship Council online portals.
