Eligible:
Candidates for the Neporany Doctoral Fellowship should have a background in political science, economics, or a comparable discipline in Ukraine (economic, social sciences, and political and social history).
Preference is given to Canadian citizens or students at Canadian universities, as well as those who will be completing their dissertations.
The fellowship will be awarded to successful applicants for one academic year.
Criteria:
Applicants for the Neporany Doctoral Fellowship must provide a current full CV as well as transcripts.
A cover letter should be sent, including the candidate's citizenship/residency status, mailing address, phone number(s), and email address.
The candidate's thesis should be summarised in 1,250 to 2,500 words.
Two letters of recommendation are required.

Applicants must be supported by a VISTA Core or Associate Member who would become their supervisor. If their primary supervisor is an Associate Member, a Core Member must also be identified to co-supervise.

The University of British Columbia desires high-potential applicants to participate in the WorkSafeBC Research Training Awards for the academic year 2023-2024.
