The Western Sydney University is proud to announce bursary award to international students enrolling in undergraduate or postgraduate courses in 2019. The Bursary is available to applicants from the following nationalities: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand or Vietnam.

The scholarship considers single-room occupancy in our campus buildings. Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate shared or family living arrangements.

Endeavor Postgraduate Scholarship Program
To apply for Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship, students will submit their application through Endeavour Online (EOL) system.
The application must include letter of acceptance (offer letter) from Australian university in a course at post graduate level leading to full time postgraduate masters or PhD degree programme.
Eligibility
Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand, with preference given to the following countries: Indonesia, Melanesia, Micronesia, Philippines, Timor Leste.
Have a minimum GPA in current program of study at Griffith of 4.0 or above on a 7-point scale or equivalent.
Be a full-time (40 CP ) continuing student in Trimester 1, 2024, with at least two trimesters of study remaining.
It provides educational initiatives that enrich the vibrant cultural fabric of the broader community.
Human and Animal Relationships in Society will cover topics exploring the positive and negative aspects of pets and human interactions; assistance and therapy animals; risks and ethical issues involving human and animal engagements.
First Nations people and their traditional relationship with animals, including as spiritual emblems; and government policy implications.
Australian award scholarship is an initiative by the government of Australia under which the students from the developing nations are seeking admissions in universities in Australia.
English language requirements
IELTS: With an overall score of at least 6.5, with no band less than 6.0
TOEFL: At least 84, with a minimum of 21 in all subtests
PTE: Academic overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50
Benefits
The fee reduction is apportioned over each course taken, generally equating to approximately AU$350-500 per 10-units of study (indicative-only).
Administered for each term of study in the eligible program(s) as a tuition fee reduction against the amount of credits initially issued in the letter of offer.
The number of scholarships available is indicative, and the University will aim to support all eligible recipients where funding permits.
