Upon acceptance into the Program, you are required to submit official transcripts, which are sent directly from your former college or university to WQU via postal mail or email. Official transcripts that are not in English will need to be evaluated by a member of NACES and submitted to the University for review.
Take the Quantitative Proficiency Test
Once you have created your account, you'll be prompted to take the Quantitative Proficiency Test to determine your mathematical and statistical proficiency as well as basic Python knowledge. It may take up to two hours and must be completed in one sitting, so make sure you have enough time before you begin. You must earn a minimum passing score of 75% to be eligible for admission.
If you fail the first attempt, you may retake the test after a waiting period of seven (7) days. If you do not pass the test on your second attempt, you are eligible to reapply to the Program following a waiting period of six (6) months from the date of your second attempt.
Financial Engineering is a multidisciplinary field that combines financial theory, mathematics applications, engineering methods, and programming practices — making the field a good fit for students from a range of backgrounds.
The skills listed are not required, but are indicators that you are a good fit for the Program:
Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline such as physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or economics
Experience with analyzing datasets
Knowledge of linear algebra, probability, and statistics
Thorough knowledge of Python programming

Criteria
Financial statement of being able to bear the cost of living in UK and remaining tuition fee.
The Pakistani students must be at least provisionally admitted to any of the universities mentioned above at the time of application.
The Pakistani students must not have previously pursued the undergraduate course from Scotland.
The Pakistani students must have fulfilled the English language requirements of the course.
The Pakistani students needs to be the first time applicant.
The Pakistani students must be enrolled in a full time postgraduate course.
The Pakistani students are required to get through a German training program for 6 months. The minimum German level for the scholarship has been set to B1 (only if the course is taught in German).
Criteria
The Pakistani students are required to have a four year degree in the relevant field.
The students are required to have completed their degree in excellence that is above the class average.
The Pakistani students must have relevant work experience for at least two years.
The Pakistani students degree duration must not have exceeded beyond 6 years apart from the delays.
Programme Description
The International Excellence Scholarship Programme (IES) is a scholarship programme that enables ambitious students of all fields of study from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia with above-average grades to spend a semester abroad in Berlin.
Scholarship Value
Under the IES programme, Copernicus Berlin offers 3 types of scholarships.
1) The full scholarship will cover the following costs of the programme participants:
They will receive monthly pocket money.
Health insurance costs will be reimbursed.
The costs for accommodation, enrolment, liability insurance, educational trips, social meetings, administration, welcome package, cultural events, international seminars, consulting and mentoring and workshops are covered by Copernicus Berlin.
Full Scholarship:
Covers monthly pocket money, health insurance, accommodation, enrolment fees, liability insurance, educational trips, social events, and cultural activities.
Partial Scholarship PLUS:
Similar to the full scholarship but requires participants to cover their own travel and health insurance costs.
Partial Scholarship:
Covers all costs except for 2 months of accommodation (1,650 EUR), travel, and health insurance, which must be paid by the participants.
